The Wall Street Journal: Steve Jobs, who has been on medical leave from Apple Inc. since January to treat an undisclosed medical condition, received a liver transplant in Tennessee about two months ago. The chief executive has been recovering well and is expected to return to work on schedule later this month, though he may work part-time initially.

Brain Farts →
Craig Hockenberry: Because it’s not a matter of if you have a brain fart that leads to a critical bug, it’s a matter of when. A good solution for iPhone devs that need priority status for update reviews.

Tumblr Noise Meter →
pilnick: At Jeff Rock’s urging last night, I’ve posted a greasemonkey script that I made a while ago for myself. The basic purpose is to help find the people who post a lot and are filling up your dashboard. I used this to cut out a bunch of the worst offenders and although I only unfollowed a fraction of the people I follow, it made a significant impact on the number of posts I was seeing. It’s...

New MacBook Pro's can boot from SD Cards →
Gizmodo: Aside from photo transfers and straight up storage expansion, the SD card slot in the new MacBook Pros has a single, extremely cool trick up its sleeve (slot?): it’s bootable. Now I really wish I would have waited. Ah well. It’s still a wonderful machine.
