Google announces Chrome OS
Google:
So today, we’re announcing a new project that’s a natural extension of Google Chrome — the Google Chrome Operating System. It’s our attempt to re-think what operating systems should be.
Runs on ARM and X86. Geared towards netbooks (initially, at least). Now you never have to leave your browser. And can’t.
It’s exactly where Google wants you to be.
