A few observations about the first e-ink magazine cover.

  1. It sucks. I remember cereal boxes in the 80’s that you could move side to side and see more interesting animation. If all e-ink covers are going to be able to do in the near term is blink four or five words at different rates then maybe we should rethink using them for a while. The 2010 grocery store checkout lane is going to be seizure-inducing.

  2. Isn’t Ford broke? After a quarterly loss of 8.7 billion, shouldn’t they be spending their money on making a decent car instead of wasting it on an expensive parlor trick?
