staff: Say Hello to Marc! This introduction has been way overdue :) Marc LaFountain joined us nearly a year ago, and if you’ve ever emailed us, there’s a good chance you’ve already met. Soon after launching Tumblr, Marco and I found ourselves overwhelmed with community feedback.  Marc saved us, helping us organize and respond to thousands of users. When he started full-time in May, the title Community Ambassador seemed appropriate.  Since then, he’s shown us just how lucky we are to have a superbly helpful and organized Ambassador to everyone doing neat stuff with Tumblr. Marc lives in Richmond, Virginia with his wife, Francisca, and their three cats, Simon, Gracie, and Zora. In his free time, he loves travel and reading as well as anything related to politics, Apple, or the Amazon Kindle. Glad to see that Marc is getting a formal introduction to the Tumblr community. I also love that he’s getting it whilst on a camel.
