Started a blog
Well, a tumblelog if you want to get technical. I’ve always wanted to start a blog, but for some reason I just couldn’t get going. It was a little intimidating for me I guess. Then I was introduced to the wonders of a tumblelog.
No stress. Just post.
So (backwards enough) I started with Chyrp, an offline Tumblr clone. Why? It had to do with the fact that I was paying monthly hosting fees for a server I wasn’t using and I was caught up with total control and data ownership for some strange reason. Anyway, Chyrp’s platform immaturity led me quickly enough to Tumblr, which kind of ended up shaping the direction of the rest of my year (and maybe more).
