We made an Android app! Well, technically Jason and Jamie made an Android app while I watched. What? Isn’t that what bosses are for?

Anyway, here’s some highlights:

  • Post text, photos, links, chats, quotes, audio and video
  • View your Dashboard
  • Reblog and Like
  • Kick-ass share menu support. Works from the Gallery app, YouTube app, Browser app and more
  • Full advanced post options support
  • Post MP3s direct from the device (!)
  • Full landscape support

On a side note, we’d like to thank all the folks that helped beta test. We appreciate everyones patience while we work through any bugs that exist in the 1.0. There are a lot more fragmentation issues than with iPhone because of all the different device models and carrier customizations (hey carriers: you should really stop doing this and stick to how Google rolled the Nexus One. For real).

We can’t wait to show you what else we have in store, not only for Android, but the other platforms as well. Stay tuned!
