Time to celebrate.
This is Traquair Jacobite, a Scottish ale flavored with coriander. It almost has a brown ale flavor with the richness of an Aventinus. Pretty rare. If you can find one in your local beer & wine store I highly recommend checking it out.

Subtle and crisp with an aftertaste of green apples. I was worried that the bottle design was going to be better than the beer, but thankfully, I was wrong.
Seriously though. That bottle is rad.

Yup. It’s PBR. In a can. Nope. It’s not even 5 o’ clock.
It’s been a long week.

The first beer review of the summer! All around mild E.S.B. with a good flavor. A little pricey, but great for folks who aren’t super-into beer and are ready to move away from American swill (read Bud Light).
7 out of 10 (recommended).

If you make beer and you don’t put a gargoyle on the label, you’re doing it wrong.

One of my birthday gifts from Emily.
From the bottle:
What you have here is the holy grail for hopheads. This beer is continually hopped over a 120 minute boil and then dry-hopped every day for a month. Enjoy now or age for a decade or so.
